Mission

Zero Waste Silicon Valley, a program of the San Jose Conservation Corps, strives to tackle two of California's most significant challenges at once: systemic barriers to employment for transition-age youth and the annual disposal of 30 million tons of waste.

Programs with Purpose

Keeping waste out of landfills and reducing greenhouse gas emissions isn’t all we do. As part of the San Jose Conservation Corps, our workforce development program gives young adults valuable job skills and relevant experience while they earn a salary.

We provide technical training, support services and personal development opportunities to set them up for long-term career success which ultimately makes our community a better place for all.
