In partnership with San Jose State University's Office of Sustainability, Zero Waste Silicon Valley provided E-Waste collection services during the University's Earth Day Event on April 20, 2022. This partnership was motivated by the growing concern for the lack of on-campus access to electronics recycling for students and faculty. ZWSV provided the collection container for E-Waste and a booth equipped with marketing materials to further highlight the abundance of recycling services provided. A total of 150 pounds of material was collected from this event and this partnership is set to continue and incorporate other recycling services such as bottles and cans and mattresses.
